Lesson 2: Life is unpredictable, live it to the fullest

In the US, everyone is so focused on work, work and more work. I mean we carry the blackberry, laptops, iphone, you name it and we are it. We made ourselves believe that unless we were reachable at every second of the day we meant nothing to the world around us!
Well, lesson 2 is : "LIVE IN THE MOMENT" Take a break! breathe! I am one to speak right? Working 50 hours a week + . I am interested in hearing from people that have a balanced life. I don't mean boring. I mean balanced, fulfilled, harmonious. How do you do it?
I've definitely gotten better but I am not yet at my optimum level! I still have this fear of the world ending unless I keep going.
I want out of the damn rat race!

I dream of walking around in nature, just breathing and feeling. I dream of a world in NYC where we go to eachother's houses often and have barbecues, movie nights,whatever... I dream of alone time, reading my favorite books while my boyfriend is watching his favorite game in the other room...

I dream and I dream and I wonder how will I ever be able to achieve these dreams in this world that seems to be never be satiated and always wants more of you.

Boomer protected me against the gluttony of the world. We spent afternoons at the park or just home chilling and not once have I felt guilty about not taking care of the obligations of my world.

I learned that after all I am my own boss and that I must take responsibility for everything that goes on in my life because I am always free to choose.

Tomorrow is certainly not a promise and every morning I am so happy to enjoy one more day.
People have the power you give them so remember that you always have a choice!

Work is super fun most of the time, and having time for family and your gold fish is even more fun! If you add a boyfriend or girlfriend, extra credit for you!

I recently took a course with Mama Gena School of Womanly Arts and the biggest take away was to live in pleasure, research and live what we pleases you.

Aye Aye to that! Life is unpredictable! LIVE IT! NOW
